Evangelist Orlena is mother of 3 children and one grandchild.
At the age of 11years old was Orlena was introduced to Christ by one of her cousins that lived here in Boston. At the time the family had lived in Long Island, New York.
Orlena began prophesying at the age of 13. It wasn’t until the year of 1994 that her life began to change. She had joined Bethel Baptist Church and sat under the tutelage of Pastor Reverend Franklin Murray. Learning all she can about Christ she involved herself in many activities at the church. Attending bible study and vacation bible school as a teacher, joined several choirs, the missionary board and on the Pastor Aid, several Evangelism teams, and there she remained for seven years.
During her time serving at Bethel she was challenged on many levels. Fall of 1996 she was told that she had contracted AIDS, But by the grace of God the Lord sent her healing and all of her test came back negative. Who's report are you going to believe, I believed that by his stripes I am healed. In the spring of 1998 Orlena found a lump in her breast and the diagnosis was a fatal she was told the lump was cancerous. She survived them both and still today she gives her testimony of how she survived each trial.
In 2002 Orlena had left Bethel to answer the call on her life for Evangelizing. She had joined the SOUL WINNING CAMPAIN TEAM, and she had also joined a Christian children’s theater group called “JACKS WORLD.” This was a start of evangelizing at a new level for her. She had also during this time had joined the “SOLDIERS OF PRAISE”
She was working hard for the Lord but now she needed a new covering. In 2003 she Joined the “Mt Olive KINGDOM BUILDERS WORSHIP CENTER,” with the Overseer Robert Perry Sr. was pastor.
The work kept coming and Orlena just love praying and giving the word. And then the Lord started dealing with her about a ministry of her own. He kept her in study and prayer and reading books and the Lord finally revealed to her the name of her ministry. And in 2001 In The Vine Ministry was born.
As she continued working the ministry she wound up looking for a church home again because the church moved, and found her self once again without a church home.
The Lord gave her a new covering. Pastor Alton J. Beech of the GREATER ANOINTING HARVEST CHURCH. There she found the favor of the Lord and favor in her Pastor. He entrusted her with the job of administrator.
God is in the blessing business, Pastor Orlena has her own radio show on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/inthevine called “Vine Connections.” And her own ministry room on http://www.Paltalk.com on www.talkshoe.com. She had Co- Owned a couple of radio stations Revelation Radio, and Soul Delivered Radio and started out working with Next Level Radio station in Boston MA.
Pastor Orlena McQueen now resides in Kansas City MO, where God has enlarged her territory and taken her ministry to the next level as she continues to minister on Paltalk and now has Morning Prayer and supplication every Saturday Morning, she is elated that she just don't have those here in the United states but in other countries as well. Pastor Orlena is a willing vessel in the army of the Lord. If you need prayer or just someone to talk to the Evangelist is there for you.
